Hi there.... I'm Julie the face behind the camera. I am a classically trained film photographer and have always been intrigued by the dance that is involved with taking photos. It's more than a subject, person, landscape, or object... it is about showing a moment that is fleeting and putting it back into plain sight. I studied film photography at the Savannah College  of Art and Design and it is here where my love for the craft of photography became embedded in my soul. My goal as a photographer is to allow my pictures to stand alone and cause you to pause in the beauty, the joy, the mess, and the memory. With all that being said let's make magic!!!!!!

I am also the founder of Matilda Babe and Co. I am a designer, creative director, vintage stylist, content contributor, retired store owner, creative spirit, photo stylist and merchant of marvels. I am best known for my fresh and intuitive approach to projects for print, television and online media. My creative contributions have been featured in a variety of national commercials and interiors publications. It is likely you have also seen my handiwork on television, in advertising campaigns, online, and of course on Instagram.
